February Chesapeake Rockfish
Shane and Jack put me to shame today but I was able to catch a few fish. It was a gorgeous February day with a beautiful sunset. Shane caught the largest at 26".

Today almost big catch
While I caught a steady amount of pickerel today my almost big catch was a photo that I just missed. For awhile I wasn't getting any bites so I decided to try and get some cool pictures for Instagram.
I spotted a blue heron at a distance and worked very slowly to creep up and get a good picture. Also this was the 1st time using the zoom on my iPhone4. I got a few shots of the bird perched on a log and then got close enough for it to take flight. Snap snap..... So close just missed getting the full bird in the shot. Anyways it's still pretty cool and here is what I did with picstitch.

Last Friday.
Fishing was super slow and the bite was almost nonexistent except for one fish.
The osprey must be having their way with the pickerel I found some remains of a carcass on the swim platform of one of the boats on the creek.
